Phonics with Robot Reg is the brainchild of sisters Charlie Day and Alex Burnside.
Phonics with Robot Reg
In 2016, Charlie and Alex launched Phonics with Robot Reg classes which offer phonics lessons for ages 3 months – 6 years. The pair franchised the business and have 50 franchises in England. In 2019, they made the brand international when they opened classes in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, Australia.
About our founders
Charlie Day
Charlie trained and worked as a professional actress before opening her own drama school, Little Stars Theatre Workshops. She went on to co-founder Phonics with Robot Reg. In 2020 she founded The Entrepreneurs Growth Club which helps ambitious Entrepreneurs grow and scale their business.
Alex Burnside
Alex studied Education at Durham University graduating with a BA in Education. She also gained a Masters in Education from Greenwich University during her first few years as a full-time teacher. She was a primary teacher for 15 years. She is passionate about the importance of education in the Early Years. She is the Co-founder of Phonics with Robot Reg.
