Hello! I’m Claire,

The proud owner of Phonics with Robot Reg Sefton. I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher with over 20 years of experience working with children aged 2 to 11.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed a real passion for early years education, particularly in helping children discover the joy of early reading and the power of learning through play. For 15 years, I’ve worked as both an Early Years Lead and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), roles that have allowed me to support children with a wide range of needs and abilities. I can’t wait to bring all of my experience, creativity, and enthusiasm to our Phonics with Robot Reg classes.

In August 2025, I made the difficult but exciting decision to step away from the classroom to pursue a career that would offer me more flexibility and family time with my husband and two daughters. Teaching has always been my calling, and I feel incredibly lucky to continue supporting children’s learning in such a fun and meaningful way.

Starting school is a huge milestone — exciting, but sometimes a little overwhelming for both children and parents. At Phonics with Robot Reg Sefton, our mission is to make those early steps into learning joyful, engaging, and stress-free.

Our high-energy classes are designed to take the mystery out of phonics, turning it into something children love. Through singing, dancing, role-play, games, and plenty of fun, we ensure that your child’s first experience of phonics is positive, confidence-building, and full of smiles.
