Hello, I’m Helen

Thank you so much for visiting my page! I am extremely excited to welcome you all and your little
ones to a wonderful world of ‘Phonics with Robot Reg’. These award winning classes will be popping
up across Tendring and the surrounding area soon!

My name is Helen and I am a mum to 3 year old (and a crazy spaniel named Marley), wife and a
qualified primary school teacher. I have taught within primary schools for 11 years, across a range of year groups, my favourite being early years! I have been the phase leader for 3 years and led phonics across early years and key stage one for the past 7 years. I love spending time at the beach,
swimming, reading and even writing my own children’s books! But now it is time for a new adventure!

Robot Reg classes are high-energy, educational and contain a magical mix of singing, dancing, music and movement; I can guarantee you and your little ones will have lots of fun! These fantastic classes will introduce babies, toddlers and you as grown ups to the incredible world of Literacy through a multi-sensory approach. Your participation in these classes with your little ones will ensure they have a strong letters and sounds knowledge and are equipped with many skills, ready to hit the ground running when they start their school journey!

With myself, Robot Reg and your support as parents, children will learn to distinguish sounds using
rhyme, rhythm, body sounds and instruments, learn the letter sounds and how to blend them to
read words as well as moving their bodies to strengthen their gross and fine motor skills so they
have super strong muscles. Without even realising, children will learn to love reading, writing and
spelling!

I absolutely love phonics and watching children thrive and flourish through their early years journey!
